High-Speed Chase Ends in Crash at Ocala Apartment Complex

OCALA, Fla. – A high-speed chase in Ocala ended with a crash at an apartment complex on May 10, according to police.

Police shot video from the chase that began when officers responded to a Wendy's on East Silver Springs Boulevard. The suspect, identified as 25-year-old Voshon Brown, drew a rifle at the scene and sped away in a white car.

During the chase, Brown drove against traffic before colliding with another vehicle. Dash-cam footage shows him smashing through a wooden fence at the apartment complex, causing his car to flip onto its roof.

Police pursued Brown through the complex while he still held the rifle. Officers managed to arrest him without further incident.

Brown now faces multiple charges, including aggravated assault, aggravated fleeing and eluding, and tampering with evidence.

Police have provided a full video of the chase and crash for public viewing.
