The 2024 People’s Choice Country Awards took place recently at the historic Opry House in Nashville, Tennessee, marking a celebration of fan-favorite artists within the country music genre. Hosted at the revered home of the Grand Ole Opry, the event recognized a range of musicians who have made significant contributions to the industry.

Morgan Wallen emerged as a major winner, securing the title of People’s Artist of 2024 and The Male Artist of 2024. Wallen’s collaboration with Post Malone, “I Had Some Help,” also won Song of 2024, highlighting his versatility and appeal among fans.

Lainey Wilson captured the award for The Female Artist of 2024, reflecting her growing influence in the country music scene. Meanwhile, Dan + Shay took home the award for The Group/Duo of 2024, continuing their successful run in the industry.

In a notable achievement, Shaboozey was recognized as the New Artist of 2024, gaining recognition amongst other newcomers. His contribution, “A Bar Song (Tipsy),” also won the New Artist Song of 2024, emphasizing his impactful debut year.

The Social Country Star of 2024 was awarded to Morgan Wallen, indicating his strong presence and influence across social media platforms.

Among the many celebrated songs, “Different About You” by Old Dominion was honored with the Group/Duo Song of 2024 award. “Lonely Road” by MGK featuring Jelly Roll won the Crossover Song of 2024, showcasing a blend of country music with other genres.

The Album of 2024 award went to Luke Combs for his critically acclaimed “Fathers & Sons,” demonstrating Combs’ continued prominence in the country music world. Combs also won Music Video of 2024 for “Miles On It” with Marshmello and Kane Brown.

Morgan Wallen’s “One Night At A Time 2024” tour was recognized as the Concert Tour of 2024, emphasizing his dominance in live country music performances.
