Houston Weather Forecast November 2024

Houston is set to experience warm and humid weather conditions over the coming days, with scattered showers and storms anticipated throughout the weekend. According to the latest forecasts, Friday will see highs in the mid-80s, accompanied by mostly cloudy skies and the possibility of thunderstorms in the afternoon.

The warm temperatures are expected to continue into the weekend, with highs remaining in the upper 80s. However, the humidity is forecasted to increase next week, making the air feel particularly humid for this late in the year.

Scattered showers and storms will persist, although widespread drought relief is unlikely. The rain chances will remain present, especially by Wednesday of next week, with an overall likelihood of rain in the 30 percent range.

In addition to the weather, residents should note the upcoming time change due to the end of daylight saving time. This change will occur on Sunday, November 3, with clocks set back one hour. This will result in earlier sunsets, near 5:30 PM, and later sunrises, starting in the 6 AM hour.

Looking ahead to next week, two cold fronts are expected to move through the area. The first front will arrive on Election Day, increasing rain chances and slightly lowering temperatures. The second front, anticipated on Thursday, is expected to bring more significant temperature drops, with highs in the 70s and lows in the 50s.
