IEEE COSMIC-2025 Conference Set for November 21-22 in Mangaluru
Mangaluru, India – The IEEE Second International Conference on Computing, Semiconductor, Mechatronics, Intelligent Systems and Communications (COSMIC-2025) will occur on November 21-22 at the Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management. Supported by the IEEE Bangalore Section, this conference aims to unite researchers, industry professionals, and students from around the globe.
Hosted at the college’s serene campus in Karnataka, COSMIC-2025 showcases Sahyadri’s ongoing commitment to research and innovation, linking its past initiatives like Synergia and the Sahyadri Science Talent Hunt. The conference’s focus is on several key areas including computing, mechatronics, and intelligent systems.
Participants can expect keynote addresses, technical paper presentations, and poster sessions to promote collaboration and groundbreaking research. All accepted papers will be submitted for potential inclusion in the IEEE Xplore® Digital Library, emphasizing the event’s scholarly significance.
This marks the third such IEEE international conference for Sahyadri. The college successfully organized IEEE COSMIC-2024 last year and previously hosted IEEE DISCOVER-2023 alongside the IEEE Mangalore Subsection and the Bangalore Section.
A total of 400 papers were submitted for COSMIC-2025, with a competitive acceptance rate of 20% after a rigorous double-blind review process. The conference anticipates more than 200 attendees, including distinguished guests and delegates.
Notable speakers include Dr. Vidyashankar S, Vice Chancellor of Visvesvaraya Technological University; Dr. Prasant Misra from TCS Research; and Dr. Chengappa Munjandira from Hewlett Packard.
Dr. S. S. Injaganeri, Principal at Sahyadri College, serves as the general chair, and several organizing chairs from various departments are also involved. COSMIC-2025 promises to be a platform for vibrant discussions and fruitful collaborations, continuing Sahyadri’s legacy in advancing technology.
