Officials from the Central Crime Branch conducted extensive raids at various locations in Bengaluru on Thursday. During the operations, it was revealed that 25 Bangladeshi nationals were residing in the city without proper documentation.

The raids took place in areas like Ramamurthynagar, Marathahalli, Bellandur, Varthur, and Hebbagodi, where these individuals were found living in makeshift accommodations. They were reportedly engaged in activities such as garbage collection, segregation, manual labor, and domestic work.

Law enforcement officers detained five of the immigrants, with three of them allegedly facing criminal charges. Among the detained individuals, two were already involved in a robbery case, leading to their arrest. The authorities searched their living quarters and confiscated various documents and electronic devices.

Furthermore, five of the suspected illegal immigrants managed to evade capture during the raids, prompting ongoing efforts to locate and apprehend them.
