Indian Action Thriller ‘Yodha’ Keeping Audiences on the Edge
The latest Hindi film to hit screens is the action-packed thriller ‘Yodha‘. Starring Siddharth Malhotra and Raashi Khanna, the movie is set in the backdrop of counter-terrorism forces, where Siddharth plays the titular Yodha.
After his father joins the Yodha Task Force with zeal, Arun Katyal (Siddharth Malhotra) is inspired to follow suit. One failed operation later, which Arun attempts, as an accomplished aerospace scientist Anuj Naik (played by Tanuj Virwani) is encountering a hijack situation mid-air, things escalate quickly. The impact of this operation affects Arun and his wife’s marital life. The aftermath of the mission brings about questions on the importance of the Yodha Task Force.
With new responsibilities on his shoulders post-mission, Arun embarks on an air journey from Delhi to London as an ‘air commando’. He lands in Islamabad amidst tensions between India and Pakistan. The upheaval in these regions is the focus of the film, unraveling a complexly woven narrative.
The plane is hijacked by extremists, with Arun compelled to save the day.
