Jacksonville Florida Lottery Ticket Winners

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Florida Lottery announced late Thursday that a winning Fantasy 5 ticket was sold in Jacksonville, with two ticket holders taking home a prize of $28,099 each. The successful Midday Draw ticket was purchased at Gate, located at 8020 Collins Road.

Another ticket with the same winning numbers, 2-4-15-23-25, was sold in Miami. This news follows a string of recent lottery wins in Jacksonville, raising interest among residents eager for their chance to win.

Florida Lottery officials encourage players to check their tickets regularly. “We’re thrilled to celebrate another win in Jacksonville,” a spokesperson for the Florida Lottery stated. “It’s always exciting to see our players hit the jackpot.”

On Thursday, March 27, additional lottery draws also occurred. Players could participate in various games, including the Cash Ball and Powerball. According to the Florida Lottery, the winning numbers from Thursday’s drawings included 02-03-12-25-31 for Cash Ball and other games with numbers varying for morning and evening sessions.

Lottery tickets can be purchased at licensed retailers throughout Florida, including gas stations, convenience stores, and grocery stores. For those looking to cash in on their winnings, Florida law allows winners of $250,000 or less to claim their prize by mail, provided they send the ticket to the Florida Lottery along with the required documentation.

Winners should be aware that under Florida law, their information becomes public record, including their name, city of residence, game won, date won, and the amount won. However, winners claiming prizes of $250,000 or more are granted a temporary exemption from public disclosure for 90 days, unless they choose to waive that right.

Players are advised to act promptly, as prizes must be claimed within specific timeframes: six months from the drawing date for most lottery games, while certain types of tickets require claims to be made within 60 days of the game’s conclusion.

With excitement growing around lottery draws, attention now turns to potential future winners as Jacksonville remains a hotspot for lottery activity.
