Actor Jeff Bridges has recently shared his dissatisfaction with his CGI appearance in the 2010 film ‘Tron: Legacy‘. In an interview on the ‘Happy Sad Confused‘ podcast with Josh Horowitz, Bridges discussed his experience with the de-aging technology used in the film. He reprised his role as Kevin Flynn in ‘Tron: Legacy’, nearly 30 years after the original ‘Tron’ was released in 1982.

Bridges expressed his disappointment with the digital recreation of himself, particularly the character Clu (Codified Likeness Utility), stating that he didn’t love the appearance. He humorously noted that the de-aged version of himself looked more like Bill Maher than himself.

The CGI in ‘Tron: Legacy’ was considered revolutionary at the time of its release, but it apparently did not meet Bridges’ expectations. Despite this, Bridges is set to return to the ‘Tron’ franchise in the upcoming film ‘Tron: Ares‘, which will be released in 2025 and stars Jared Leto alongside him.
