Jessica Capshaw Returns to TV on Celebrity Wheel of Fortune

LOS ANGELES, CA — Actress Jessica Capshaw, known for her role as Dr. Arizona Robbins on Grey’s Anatomy, will appear in the upcoming episode of Celebrity Wheel of Fortune on May 28. Capshaw will join fellow contestants Dulcé Sloan and Pete Holmes in competing for charity.

In a clip released ahead of the episode, host Pat Sajak humorously remarked on their shared departures from their respective television shows. While Sajak exited the main Wheel of Fortune show in the summer of 2024, Capshaw confirmed her impressive tenure on Grey’s Anatomy, stating, “I was there for 10 seasons — 10 and a half, I guess.”

Sajak followed up, “And then you leave… but you went back for something?” Capshaw explained she returned last year for an episode to reconnect with her former co-stars, saying, “I had such a great time.”

The conversation then shifted to a more personal note as Capshaw shared her fond memories of watching the game show with her grandmother. The two shared laughs about their unique experiences on television, highlighting the nostalgia tied to both their careers.

Capshaw is competing on Celebrity Wheel of Fortune on behalf of Baby2Baby, an organization that supports families in need. Sloan represents the She Ready Foundation, while Holmes is playing for Homeboy Industries. Viewers can tune in to see which charity will win this week.
