Jisoo Joins BLACKPINK Members on Billboard Hot 100 with New Solo Track

Los Angeles, CA — Jisoo, a member of the globally popular girl group BLACKPINK, has made her solo debut on the Billboard Hot 100 with her new duet, “Eyes Closed,” featuring Zayn Malik. The song, released on October 10, has debuted at No. 72 on the chart for the week ending October 25. The ranking is attributed to 5.8 million official U.S. streams, 225,000 in radio airplay audience, and 2,000 units sold, according to data from Luminate.

With this milestone, Jisoo becomes the last member of BLACKPINK to have a solo song chart on the Hot 100, joining her fellow members Rosé, Lisa, and Jennie. This achievement marks an important moment in K-pop history, as BLACKPINK is now the first all-female K-pop group to have all its members reach the Hot 100 as solo artists.

Jisoo’s journey on the Hot 100 reflects her success as part of the group, which has placed 10 songs on the chart overall.
