British actress Jodie Comer has been named the world’s most beautiful woman according to a recent ranking determined by the Golden Ratio formula. The list, released in 2023 by Dr. Julian De Silva, a prominent facial cosmetic surgeon, includes notable celebrities such as Bella Hadid, Ariana Grande, and Taylor Swift.

The Golden Ratio, an ancient Greek formula, assesses beauty through scientific proportions by examining facial symmetry. The formula calculates beauty by dividing the length of the face by its width, with a result close to 1.618 considered ideal. The ratio can also be applied to specific facial features for more nuanced analysis.

According to Dr. De Silva, Comer, 31, achieved a score of 94.52 percent, placing her at the top of the list. “From my observations, Jodie Comer stands out because she nearly achieves facial perfection. Her lip and nose alignment earned an impressive 98.7 percent. She also scored highly for the proportions of her nose, the shape of her lips, and the positioning of her eyes. Comer’s chin is elegantly sculpted,” Dr. De Silva remarked, according to reports in The Economic Times.

The list also features Indian actress Deepika Padukone, who ranks ninth with a score of 91.22 percent. Padukone, one of India’s highest-paid actors, was previously recognized as the sexiest Asian woman by Eastern Eye back in 2018. The 38-year-old actress, who recently had a baby girl with her husband Ranveer Singh, is scheduled to appear in the upcoming film “Singham Again” releasing on November 1.

As of 2024, Deepika Padukone remains one of the highest-paid actors in Bollywood, commanding a fee ranging from Rs 15 crore to Rs 30 crore per film, as reported by The Economic Times.

The complete list of the ten most beautiful women in the world, according to Dr. De Silva, is topped by Jodie Comer with 94.52 percent, followed by Zendaya at 94.37 percent, Bella Hadid at 94.35 percent, Beyoncé at 92.44 percent, Ariana Grande at 91.81 percent, Taylor Swift at 91.64 percent, Jourdan Dunn at 91.39 percent, Kim Kardashian at 91.28 percent, Deepika Padukone at 91.22 percent, and HoYeon Jung at 89.63 percent.
