Joe Exotic, the star of the Netflix documentary series ‘Tiger King,’ has announced his engagement to a fellow inmate while serving his prison sentence. Joe Exotic, whose real name is Joe Maldonado-Passage, made the announcement recently, revealing that his fiancé is Jorge Marquez, a 33-year-old inmate.

Maldonado-Passage, 61, is currently serving a 21-year prison sentence after being convicted in 2020 of a murder-for-hire plot involving animal rights activist Carole Baskin, as well as charges related to the killing of tigers. This marks his third engagement.

In his announcement, Joe Exotic expressed his love for Marquez, stating that they love each other very much. The engagement has drawn significant attention given Joe Exotic’s controversial past and his current incarceration.
