New York, NY – New York Jets wide receiver Josh Reynolds is stepping into a prime role as the team’s WR1 for their upcoming matchup against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday.

Reynolds has been largely absent from fantasy discussions this season due to the Jets’ low-volume passing attack. However, with teammate Garrett Wilson listed as doubtful with a hyperextended knee, Reynolds is set for a more significant role in Week 7. Wilson’s absence is expected to leave Reynolds and tight end Mason Taylor as the main pass-catchers, besides running back Breece Hall.

The 30-year-old Reynolds, although gaining usage, is still considered a lower-end option in fantasy circles, currently ranked as PPR WR47 by RotoBaller for this week’s performance. Despite this, the opportunity to step up is there, and his projection sits at 7.1 fantasy points for the matchup with the Panthers.

In contrast, Cleveland Browns quarterback Dillon Gabriel also prepares for a Week 7 game against the Miami Dolphins. Gabriel, who has thrown for 430 yards and three touchdowns in his rookie season, is working to provide more for a struggling Browns offense that has only scored 82 points this season.

Facing the Dolphins, who have one of the league’s weakest defenses, Gabriel is projected to score 11.3 points. While both players gear up for their matches, keeping an eye on their health and active status will be crucial for fantasy managers.
