LONDON, U.K. — The British-Irish drama series “Riviera,” starring Julia Stiles, has found a new streaming home on Netflix after originally airing on Sky in 2017. The show, which spanned three seasons, follows Georgina Clios (Stiles), an American art expert whose life unravels after her wealthy husband dies in a yacht accident, plunging her into a web of secrets and danger.

Created by acclaimed Irish filmmaker Neil Jordan, “Riviera” became Sky’s most-watched original series at the time of its debut. The ensemble cast includes Iwan Rheon, Lena Olin, Roxane Duran, and Juliet Stevenson, adding to the show’s international appeal.

Julia Stiles, known for her roles in “10 Things I Hate About You” and “The Bourne Identity,” expressed her fondness for the series in a 2022 interview. “I loved making that show,” she said, adding that while there were discussions about a fourth season, the pandemic halted those plans. Stiles hinted at the possibility of a movie adaptation, stating, “I would totally be open to maybe a movie version of it or something.”

This move to Netflix marks another success for Sky’s original programming, following the resurgence of “Gangs of London” on the streaming platform. Michelle Keegan‘s series “Brassic” has also gained traction on Netflix, with its first four seasons still available for streaming.

As of now, there have been no official updates regarding a potential revival of “Riviera.” Fans of the series can now revisit the drama on Netflix, where all three seasons are available for streaming.
