Juvenile Killed, Three Injured in Placer County Crash

COLFAX, Calif. — A juvenile was killed and three others suffered serious injuries in a crash Thursday afternoon on Interstate 80 in Placer County, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred around 12:10 p.m. on the westbound side of the highway, near Colfax. Officials reported that only one vehicle was involved in the incident. A photograph from the scene shows a black vehicle on the shoulder of the highway, suggesting it may have gone off the road before the crash.
