Kamala Harris to Sit Down for Exclusive Interview with Fox News’ Bret Baier
Fox News announced on Monday that Vice President Kamala Harris will conduct an exclusive interview with the network’s chief political anchor, Bret Baier. This will be Harris’s first-ever formal interview with Fox News, marking a significant engagement with a network that has often been critical of her and President Joe Biden.
The interview is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, October 16, in the swing state of Pennsylvania, where Baier will broadcast his show, *Special Report with Bret Baier*. The conversation will air on the same evening at 6:00 PM ET.
This development comes after weeks of criticism that Harris was avoiding media interviews with major outlets. Recently, she appeared on several shows including CBS’s *60 Minutes*, ABC’s *The View*, *The Howard Stern Show*, *The Late Show with Stephen Colbert*, and a town hall with Univision.
Bret Baier, known for his extensive experience in political journalism, has played a crucial role in covering major political events since joining Fox News in 1998. He has moderated Republican presidential primary debates and interviewed various world leaders, including former President Barack Obama, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Baier is also the host of FOX News Audio’s “The Bret Baier Podcast” and has created the popular *Common Ground* segment, which aims to find middle ground among political leaders from different sides of the aisle.
