Kedarnath Dham Opens Its Doors on May 10 as Announced on Mahashivratri – Chardham Yatra 2024 Update

The sacred portals of the eleventh Jyotirlinga, Shri Kedarnath Dham, are all set to open on May 10, as announced on the auspicious occasion of Mahashivratri. The Shri Badrinath Kedarnath Temple Committee Chairman, Ajay, revealed that the gates of Kedarnath Dham will unlock at 7 am on the said date.

Participating in the Chardham Yatra, devotees have the exclusive opportunity to seek blessings at the Kedarnath Dham temple. Every year, millions of devotees from various regions of the country flock to Kedarnath to pay their respects to Lord Shiva and perform special rituals.

Kedarnath Dham remains partially covered in snow at the beginning of the winter season. During this time, the entire temple is carefully protected with a layer of snow. As the spring approaches, the temple gradually unveils its majestic presence once again.
