Ken Jennings Omnibus Podcast Announcement

SEATTLE, Wash. — Ken Jennings, the beloved host of ‘Jeopardy!’, has announced that he is leaving the Omnibus Podcast, a show he co-hosted for eight years with John Roderick. Jennings made the announcement via Instagram on October 20, expressing pride in the work they did but stating that his busy travel schedule made it difficult to continue.

“I’m so proud of the eight years @johnroderick and I spent unearthing weird oddities of the past on our podcast OMNIBUS,” Jennings wrote. “But my travel schedule is making it harder and harder to keep up with the show, so we’re bringing in a cavalcade of guest hosts to help out.”

Jennings announced that his final episode as a weekly co-host will feature a live extravaganza in Seattle on November 8, promising music, surprises, and more. Fans can obtain tickets through the Town Hall Seattle’s website. The post showcased a whimsical promotional image of Jennings and Roderick dressed as astronauts, further emphasizing their love for unique, space-themed artwork.

Omnibus is known for exploring strange but true stories, presented as a time capsule for future generations. Jennings’ travel between Seattle and Culver City for ‘Jeopardy!’ likely contributed to his decision to step back from the podcast.

Fans have expressed their heartbreak over Jennings’ departure. “Heartbroken but happy for you,” wrote one fan. Another commented, “I feel like I’ve just been hit by a mail truck.” Many shared their excitement for upcoming guest hosts while lamenting the end of an era.

In addition to his podcast announcement, Jennings is scheduled to appear in New York City this weekend for other engagements. He remains the host of ‘Jeopardy!’ and has authored numerous books.
