Kerala Thiruvonam Bumper Lottery Draw to be Held in Thiruvananthapuram
The highly anticipated draw for the Kerala Thiruvonam Bumper lottery is scheduled to take place on October 9 at 1:30 PM at Gorkhi Bhavan, located in Thiruvananthapuram. The draw is part of one of Kerala’s largest lottery events, generating significant interest across the state, with ticket sales reaching near-record levels.
According to reports by the Directorate of State Lotteries, as of Monday, 69,70,438 out of the 80 lakh tickets printed have already been sold, producing a total sales revenue of Rs 350 crore. Palakkad district is leading with 12,78,720 tickets sold, followed by Thiruvananthapuram with 9,21,350 tickets, and Thrissur with 8,44,390 tickets.
The Kerala Thiruvonam Bumper offers a grand first prize of Rs 25 crore. The lottery also features a second prize of Rs 2 crore for 20 winners and a third prize of Rs 50 lakh for another 20 participants. Tickets for this draw are priced at Rs 500 each.
Finance Minister K. N. Balagopal will officiate the draw, which will be conducted in the presence of M.L.A. V. K. Prasanth and Abraham Renn, Director of the Lottery Department.
