Kevin Federline Claims Britney Called Justin Timberlake Before Their Wedding

LOS ANGELES, CA – Kevin Federline has revealed that Britney Spears contacted her ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake a day before their wedding in September 2004. In an interview published on October 14, Federline, 47, disclosed that the call occurred while the couple was at the Fairmont in Santa Monica, California.

Federline recounted the moment, saying he initially thought Spears was on the phone with her mother. When he learned she was speaking with Timberlake, he expressed disbelief and offered her an out, stating, “OK, we don’t have to do this.” He noted that he was willing to forgo the marriage if she had doubts.

During the discussion, Spears, 43, explained that she was seeking closure with Timberlake, with whom she had a serious relationship from 1999 to 2002. Despite her reassurance, Federline admitted he was shocked by her decision to call Timberlake the night before their wedding.

“There was so much turmoil. I couldn’t imagine what it was like to be her. You’re talking teenagers that had to go through this globally,” Federline said, reflecting on the intense public scrutiny Spears and Timberlake faced.

As for whether Spears was still in love with Timberlake at the time, Federline stated, “In love? Not sure, but not over it,” suggesting a lingering connection despite their breakup.
