Kevin Gates’ New Track Sparks Feud Speculation with Boosie Badazz

LOS ANGELES, California – October 3, 2025 – Kevin Gates has fans buzzing with his latest track, “F*k Em,” which some believe contains veiled shots at Boosie Badazz. The explicit song has even earned an age restriction on YouTube, highlighting the fierce mood Gates brings.
In the track, Gates raps, “You ain’t New Orleans to Baton Rouge, still in the trenches controlling traffic. You don’t pull up and hop out solo, you ain’t Mr. Louisiana…” He later asserts, “…B**ch I’m here, I’m Mr. Louisiana,” seeming to challenge Boosie’s long-held title.
This development comes even as earlier this year, Boosie claimed in an interview with VladTV that he, Gates, NBA YoungBoy, and Fredo Bang had addressed any rumors of tension during a group FaceTime. Boosie maintained, “I ain’t never had no issues with [Gates]. If I had an issue with him, it would have been known.”
Despite Boosie’s assertions, fans on social media have connected Gates’ new release to their historical interactions, producing old clips and interviews as potential evidence of subliminal disses. The tension between the two rappers dates back to 2009, following the murder of Gates’ associate Nussie, which had rumors linking Boosie to the incident, though he was cleared of involvement in 2012.
In 2016, a reported confrontation between their entourages occurred during a festival in Louisville, Kentucky. In response to Gates’ connection to Nussie, Boosie noted, “I can’t control who people do songs with. Kevin Gates ain’t never said he was coming out there for nobody. I ain’t never had nothing with no Gates.”
Currently, Boosie has yet to respond publicly to Gates’ recent track, leaving fans eagerly awaiting his comments.
