Kevin Jonas Therapy Podcast Interview

Los Angeles, CA — Kevin Jonas opened up about his experiences with therapy during a recent podcast appearance. On the show, The Squeeze, the Jonas Brothers member discussed the emotional challenges he faced while touring.

Joined by hosts Tay and Taylor Lautner, Kevin talked about the drastic changes he feels when transitioning from performing to being at home. “It takes you through the highs and lows of touring. Everyone gets sick after a tour,” he said. “Your immune system finally rests, and you realize you’ve been in fight-or-flight mode the whole time.”

Kevin shared his struggles with what he calls post-tour blues. “I came home from Europe and I just was not in a good spot. I think the serotonin drop was just maybe too much… I just couldn’t re-acclimate,” he explained.

Realizing the importance of seeking help, Kevin described how therapy played a significant role in his recovery. “I sought a therapist,” he admitted. “He gave me really good advice. He said, ‘You’re having a hard time because you’re waiting for the next thing to come. How about you take a whole week off from phones and electronics, and just be hyper-present?’”

Through therapy, Kevin gained perspective and learned that feeling overwhelmed is okay. He also highlighted the pressures related to fame and public scrutiny. “It’s important to talk about these feelings,” he added, joining the growing conversation on mental health.

Kevin isn’t alone in addressing these issues, as other celebrities like Dwayne Johnson, Lady Gaga, and Billie Eilish have also opened up about mental health, helping to reduce the stigma surrounding it.
