Krispy Kreme Launches Peanuts-Inspired Holiday Doughnuts

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Krispy Kreme is teaming up with Peanuts for a festive holiday collection of doughnuts. The new treats debut on Saturday, Nov. 29, inspired by the beloved characters created by Charles M. Schulz.

The Krispy Kreme x Peanuts collection includes three new doughnuts: the Snoopy Cookies & Kreme Doughnut, the Charlie Brown Ornament Doughnut, and the Christmas Wreath Doughnut. Additionally, customers will be able to enjoy two returning favorites: the Santa Belly Doughnut and the Holiday Sprinkle Doughnut.

The Snoopy Cookies & Kreme Doughnut is shaped like Snoopy. It is filled with Cookies & Kreme, dipped in vanilla icing, and decorated with a Snoopy face. The Charlie Brown Ornament Doughnut features a brownie batter filling, dipped in yellow vanilla flavored icing, and topped with a chocolate buttercream zig-zag design resembling an ornament hook.

The Christmas Wreath Doughnut is an Original Glazed doughnut, embellished with a green buttercream swirl, yellow nonpareil sprinkles, and topped with a sugar piece of Snoopy and Woodstock, completing the holiday theme.

Returning to the lineup, the Santa Belly Doughnut is an unglazed shell filled with White Kreme and decorated with a chocolate buttercream Santa belt and a Santa buckle sugar piece. The Holiday Sprinkle Doughnut features an Original Glazed doughnut topped with festive sprinkles.

“Peanuts has brought joy to fans during the holiday season for decades,” said Scott Shillet, Vice President of Global Licensing for Peanuts, in a press release. “As we celebrate Peanuts’ 75th anniversary this year, we look to collaborate with partners like Krispy Kreme to continue that tradition for fans of all ages.”

The Krispy Kreme x Peanuts collection will be available until Christmas Eve at participating locations nationwide. Additionally, Krispy Kreme will host its annual “Day of the Dozens” on Dec. 12, where customers can purchase a dozen Original Glazed doughnuts for just $1 with the purchase of any other dozen.
