Kylie Minogue, the celebrated Australian pop star, has announced her much-anticipated Australian tour for 2025. This tour is expected to be her most extensive global trek since 2011. The tour, aptly named the Tension Tour, is set to begin in Perth on February 15, followed by concerts in Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Sydney. After performing in Australia, the tour will continue to Asia and then the United Kingdom in May.

The announcement comes alongside news of a new album release. Titled “Tension II,” the album is slated for release on October 18, 2024. It is described as a “high octane, high energy” sequel to her previous work that achieved significant chart success. Before the album’s release, fans can look forward to the lead single “Lights, Camera, Action,” which will be available from September 27.

“Tension II” includes 13 songs, featuring nine new tracks and several exciting collaborations. Notable collaborations include “Edge of Saturday Night” with American dance producer The Blessed Madonna, a joint effort with fellow Australian singer Sia, a track with country music artist Orville Peck, and a flirtatious number featuring Bebe Rexha and Tove Lo.

Kylie Minogue expressed her excitement for the upcoming tour, expressing a strong desire to share unforgettable moments with her global fanbase. It is her first major Australian tour since 2019, and she intends to deliver stunning performances reflecting her extensive musical career, which spans more than 35 years. This career includes multiple iconic hits, marked by elaborate stage shows featuring costume changes and dynamic choreography.

The tour tickets will be available from September 26, 2024. Fans can expect a lively arena-filling spectacle, highlighting both new content from “Tension II” and a rich selection of Minogue’s classic hits. This event will undoubtedly be a celebration of her enduring presence in the music industry.
