Lauren Graham The Z Suite Tubi Premiere

PARK CITY, Utah — Lauren Graham made a whirlwind appearance at the Sundance Film Festival on Thursday to premiere her new film, *Twinless*, before jetting off to promote her upcoming TV series, *The Z-Suite*, set to debut on Tubi next month.

*Twinless*, a bromantic dramedy written and directed by James Sweeney, stars Dylan O'Brien in dual roles as twins navigating grief after one dies unexpectedly. Graham plays the mother of O’Brien’s characters, a role she described as a “cool challenge” during an interview with *The Hollywood Reporter* on the red carpet at the Eccles Center Theatre. “I don’t often get offered something a little darker,” Graham said. “It doesn’t need to be about me. I can just go do something because I like it.”

Graham praised O’Brien’s dedication to the film, noting his ability to balance intensity with kindness on set. “He’s got such a great charisma,” she said. “There’s no place he can’t go.”

After her brief stop in Park City, Graham headed to New York City for a media blitz to promote *The Z-Suite*, which premieres Feb. 6 on Tubi. The workplace comedy stars Graham as Monica Marks, a seasoned advertising executive who, alongside her loyal colleague Doug Garcia (Nico Santos), is ousted from her firm after a professional blunder. The duo must navigate their way back to the top while contending with a new generation of Gen Z employees who have taken their place.

“I’m on a new network where [the show is among] the first scripted programming,” Graham explained. “There’s a little bit of pressure, but also just a lot of momentum and excitement, and we will just try not to screw it up.”

Fans of Graham’s iconic role as Lorelai Gilmore in *Gilmore Girls* have drawn comparisons between the two characters, but Graham insists they are worlds apart. “There are no similarities,” she told *THR*. “I can never replicate the beauty and the magic of that character and that writing and that time, so I might as well not try.”

The trailer for *The Z-Suite* dropped earlier this week, sparking excitement among Graham’s loyal fanbase. Social media lit up with anticipation, with one fan exclaiming, “I’ll watch ANYTHING with Lauren Graham ❤️,” while another cheered, “LAUREN GRAHAM IN A SERIES? OH WE ARE SO BACK 👏.”

The series also stars Madison Shamoun as Kriska Thompson, a Gen Z social media manager who clashes with the older generation. The show promises to explore generational dynamics in the workplace, blending humor with sharp commentary on modern corporate culture.

Graham’s return to TV marks her first major role since her appearance in Disney+’s *The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers* two years ago. With *The Z-Suite*, she aims to carve out a new niche in her career, embracing the challenges of a fresh project on a burgeoning streaming platform.
