LeAnn Rimes Quits The Voice UK, Focuses on U.S. Career

LONDON, UK — LeAnn Rimes has announced she is leaving her role as a coach on The Voice UK to concentrate on her career in the United States.
The news follows her recent stint on the show, where she joined last year and previously appeared on the Australian version of the series. Rimes, 42, expressed her love for connecting with artists and creating impactful performances. At the time, she said, ‘I love connecting with all of the artists, finding songs they connect to and creating these performances. For me, it’s not just about creating performances but creating moments that are really powerful.’
A source revealed, ‘LeAnn loved her time on the UK show, but wants to focus on her career in the States. She was hugely popular with cast and crew, and everybody loved having her as part of the team.’
The producers of The Voice UK are now searching for another female artist to join the lineup for the upcoming 14th series, which will begin filming later this summer. They stated, ‘Producers know they’ve had some amazing names so far, so they want to secure someone who will cause a lot of excitement around the show and bring a new energy to the competition.’
Meanwhile, McFly members Danny and Tom will return as judges alongside veteran mentors Sir Tom Jones and others. This will mark Danny’s first television appearance since his controversial kiss with fellow contestant Maura Higgins during a recent event.
Tom and Danny won the last series after mentoring singer Ava Manning, who received both a cash prize and a holiday package. An ITV spokeswoman declined to comment further on the upcoming changes.
