Lego Tropical Aquarium Model Display

Billund, Denmark — The LEGO Group announced the upcoming release of its latest model, 10366 Tropical Aquarium, set to launch on November 13, 2025. Priced at $479.99, the 4,154-piece aquarium is expected to be the largest and most expensive LEGO set of the year.

This new model follows the success of previous licensed sets, including 10365 Captain Jack Sparrow’s Pirate Ship. The Tropical Aquarium marks LEGO’s shift to a non-licensed format while exploring a vibrant underwater theme, reminiscent of the 2021 31122 Fish Tank set.

The Tropical Aquarium aims at adult builders, featuring a premium design that replaces a traditional fish tank with an elaborate brick-built display. The aquarium measures over 14 inches tall, 20.5 inches wide, and 11 inches deep, framed in sleek black for an elegant finish.

Notable features include a backdrop with blue tiles that mimic the illusion of rippling water, alongside transparent elements illustrating bubbles. The base simulates a sandy ocean floor with various colors and textures to enhance realism.

Within the aquarium, a variety of coral structures and plants abound, showcasing tropical fish built from LEGO bricks. The set includes four unique fish designs, each equipped with a new rotating fin element that allows them to appear as if they are swimming.

Additionally, the set comes with a brick-built treasure chest and a sea crab that emerges from a rocky formation, adding more elements to the underwater ecosystem.

An exclusive Gift With Purchase, titled 5009823 Fish Tank Filter & Fish Food, will also be available from November 13-19, 2025. The promotional GWP features a miniature fish tank filter and a small box of fish food, meant to complement the Tropical Aquarium set.

LEGO’s ambitious release suggests that the Tropical Aquarium will be a prominent addition to its Icons series until its retirement in December 2028.
