Lehi High School Locked Down After Weapon Report

LEHI, Utah — Lehi High School went into lockdown Thursday afternoon following reports of a vehicle possibly containing a weapon. The lockdown began around 12:30 p.m. as a safety precaution.
City spokesperson Jeanteil Livingston confirmed that police arrived promptly at the scene, located near 180 North and 500 East in Lehi. Officers are actively searching for a vehicle that matches the description given by witnesses.
Students and staff at the high school are being kept in secure locations until authorities provide further information. Local residents have been advised to avoid the area while police work to assess the situation.
