Lisa Mccune Wins Dancing With The Stars

In an exciting finale on Dancing With The Stars, Perth-raised actress Lisa McCune took home the coveted Mirror Ball Trophy after an incredible performance.

After some impressive routines, it was a close finish with WA’s Samantha Jade coming in second place, followed by Ant Middleton in third. Comedian Nikki Osborne and Home & Away’s James Stewart rounded off the top five.

The final showdown featured the top three competitors—McCune, Jade, and Middleton—each showcasing their best dances from the season. There was a little bit of rivalry in the air, especially after it was revealed that Stewart’s partner, Jorja Freeman, is married to Jade’s dance partner, Gustavo Viglio.

Jade kicked off the performances with a stunning freestyle to Christina Aguilera’s “Show Me How to Burlesque,” earning her a score of 76. McCune followed with a beautiful Viennese Waltz that wowed the judges and brought her score up to a near-perfect 79.

Ant Middleton, after showcasing a contemporary dance, secured a respectable score but fell short of the top two, leading to an emotional conclusion for the competition.

The judges praised all the finalists, but it was McCune who ultimately clinched the title, with her partner Ian Waite happily joining in her celebration. Overjoyed, McCune expressed her excitement, saying, “I’m so thrilled!” as she held the trophy high.

This year’s competition certainly kept fans on the edge of their seats, and the performances did not disappoint, showcasing the hard work and talent of all the contestants.
