Lucid Motors Ev Rentals In Saudi Arabia

Riyadh, Saudi ArabiaLucid Motors is expanding its electric vehicle (EV) rental business internationally with a new partnership with Sixt, announced on November 13, 2025. The Lucid Air is now available for rent through Sixt in Saudi Arabia, with plans for the upcoming Gravity SUV to also join the fleet.

The announcement came via a post on Lucid’s social media, highlighting that the collaboration will facilitate access to ‘luxury mobility.’ Details regarding the deal have not been disclosed, but it marks another step in Lucid’s strategic growth in the Kingdom.

Lucid’s ties with Saudi Arabia date back to 2022 when the company secured an agreement to sell up to 100,000 EVs in the region. In the following year, Lucid opened its second manufacturing facility, known as AMP-2, in King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC) near Jeddah.

While initial operations at AMP-2 involve shipping vehicles from Lucid’s plant in Casa Grande, Arizona, for assembly in Saudi Arabia, the company plans to transition to full vehicle assembly by next year. This facility is expected to increase Lucid’s annual production capacity by 150,000 vehicles. Interim CEO Marc Winterhoff reported that over 1,000 vehicles have been assembled in Saudi Arabia, alongside 3,891 built in Arizona.

Under the new rental arrangement with Sixt, the Lucid Air Touring can be rented at Riyadh Airport for approximately 1,228 riyals ($327) per day, including 1,000 kilometers. Those looking for additional mileage can opt for 3,000 kilometers at an extra cost of 245 riyals ($65) a day. In comparison, the Tesla Model 3 is priced at 662 riyals ($176) per day, with a similar mileage plan.

This partnership is part of Lucid’s ongoing push to establish itself as a leader in the luxury electric vehicle market, as it continues to explore additional collaborations for its vehicle fleet, including previous partnerships in Germany.

As Lucid’s Gravity production ramps up, the company anticipates increased deliveries in 2026, further enhancing its position in the growing EV market.
