Mabelle B. Avery School Prepares for Veterans Day 2024 Celebration
The Mabelle B. Avery Middle School is set to honor military veterans with a comprehensive celebration on Veterans Day, November 11, 2024. The event aims to bring together the community to express gratitude towards veterans for their service and sacrifices.
The celebration will commence at 7:45 AM with breakfast, providing an opportunity for attendees to gather and socialize before the official events begin. As detailed in the school’s agenda, the introduction to the ceremony is scheduled to start at 8:23 AM.
One of the key highlights of the ceremony will be the Presentation of the Colors by the American Legion Honor Guard, set to occur at 8:27 AM. This will be followed by a recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance at 8:32 AM, a significant moment of national unity and reflection.
