UNION CITY, CA — A 2.9-magnitude earthquake struck Union City on Thursday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The quake was reported at 8:17 a.m. and was centered just east of Mission Boulevard along the Hayward Fault, USGS officials stated.
