Mahindra Launches New Five Door Thar Roxx

Mahindra has just unveiled its latest model, the Thar Roxx, which is also known as the five-door Thar. Starting at Rs. 12.99 lakh for the petrol variant and Rs. 13.99 lakh for the diesel variant, this new addition to the Thar family promises a lot of excitement for SUV lovers.

The new Thar Roxx keeps the beloved features of the three-door model but adds some practicality with two extra doors and a bench seating layout in the second row. Under the hood, it boasts a powerful 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that packs a punch with 160bhp and 330Nm of torque, as well as a 2.2-litre diesel engine delivering 150bhp and the same torque.

For those who enjoy a bit of variety, buyers can choose between six-speed manual and automatic gearboxes. On the outside, the Thar Roxx has been updated with a stylish new grille, eye-catching C-shaped LED DRLs, and slick projector headlamps. You can also spot circular fog lights, dual-tone alloy wheels, and a spare wheel mounted on the tailgate at the back.

Step inside, and the Thar Roxx offers an array of features that make it stand out in the crowded SUV market. A new 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system is at the heart of the dashboard along with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. The cabin also features a fully digital color instrument cluster, ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, automatic climate control, and rear AC vents.

In terms of competition, the new Thar Roxx faces off against other SUVs including the Force Gurkha and the Toyota Hyryder, but it stands out with its enhanced off-road capabilities and rugged SUV design. The excitement around this launch is palpable, and Mahindra is gearing up for a busy season ahead!
