Maintenance Affects Delhi Metro’s Yellow Line Services
The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has announced that services on Delhi Metro’s Yellow Line, which runs from Samaypur Badli to Millennium City Centre Gurgaon, will be temporarily disrupted on the morning of Friday, October 13, 2024. The disruption is due to planned maintenance activities at the Vishwavidyalaya Metro station.
According to DMRC spokesperson Anuj Dayal, the first train from Vishwavidyalaya to Millennium City Centre will commence at 6:29 am, while the first train from Kashmere Gate to Samaypur Badli will begin at 6:40 am. These adjustments deviate from the usual start time of 6:00 am.
Service between the Vishwavidyalaya and Kashmere Gate stations will be suspended during the maintenance period. Consequently, Vidhan Sabha and Civil Lines stations will remain closed until train services resume at 6:25 am.
Despite these early morning disruptions, normal operations will continue on other sections of the Yellow Line, specifically between Millennium City Centre and Kashmere Gate, and from Samaypur Badli to Vishwavidyalaya stations. The DMRC has assured passengers that announcements regarding train destinations and platform changes will be made at stations and inside the trains to mitigate any potential inconvenience.
