Man Arrested for Alleged Rape During Tattoo Session in Baton Rouge

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – A 24-year-old man is in custody after being accused of raping a woman while tattooing her on Friday, May 30. The Baton Rouge Police Department has charged Jamarkus Whitlock with second-degree rape.
According to police, the incident occurred during the tattoo session. Whitlock reportedly denied the allegations when questioned by authorities. The victim underwent a rape kit examination at a local hospital, with evidence sent to the Louisiana State Police Crime Lab for analysis.
Whitlock was arrested soon after the report and booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison. No further details about the alleged assault have been released by the police.
