Man Charged Over Fatal Crash on Monash Freeway
A tragic incident unfolded on the Monash Freeway in Melbourne, as a collision involving multiple vehicles, including a motorcycle, led to the death of a 20-year-old female motorbike rider during the morning peak hour. The citybound lanes of the Monash Freeway had to be temporarily shut down between Police Road and Wellington Road, causing significant traffic delays that stretched back to the South Gippsland Freeway.

In a concerning turn of events, a 34-year-old man from Pakenham has been charged with dangerous driving causing death in connection to the fatal crash. The accused individual will be presenting himself before the Melbourne Magistrates' Court on June 24 to address the charges brought against him, shedding light on the legal proceedings following this heartbreaking incident.
