Massive Warehouse Fire Engulfs SPS Technologies in Pennsylvania

ABINGTON TWP., Pa. (WPVI) — Firefighters are currently addressing a significant three-alarm fire that erupted Monday night at SPS Technologies, located on the 300 block of Highland Avenue. The blaze initiated around 9:43 p.m. and has since resulted in heavy smoke and flames visible from the Chopper 6 aerial footage.
As crews continue to battle the fire, local officials have confirmed that all occupants were successfully evacuated, and no injuries have been reported at this time. The cause of the fire remains undetermined, and investigations are underway.
Officials are urging both traffic and pedestrians to avoid the vicinity due to emergency operations. The SEPTA regional transit agency has suspended service in the area until further notice, complicating travel plans for local commuters.
