Mcdonald's £5 Meal Deal

McDonald's has unveiled its first-ever £5 Meal Deal, available across participating restaurants in the UK starting October 9. This latest offering includes a selection of a cheeseburger or a Mayo Chicken sandwich, Medium Fries, a Medium Carbonated Soft Drink, and a side of four Chicken McNuggets, which are typically unavailable for purchase separately. The deal promises customers a saving of nearly £2.50 compared to purchasing each item individually.

According to McDonald’s, this deal is not only cost-effective but also offers a unique menu combination that distinguishes it from standard supermarket meal deals. The fast-food chain has expressed that the offer reflects an exclusive opportunity for its customers to enjoy a satisfying meal at a reduced price.

Customers wishing to take advantage of the meal deal will need to visit participating restaurant locations after 11 am, as the offer is not available for delivery. Additionally, patrons should be aware that any upgrades, such as a larger drink, will incur additional charges.

This menu change follows the anticipated return of the McRib to UK restaurants on October 16, marking its first availability in the country since 2015. The McRib, which debuted in 1981, boasts a significant following, largely due to its infrequent availability. It will, however, be back for a limited time only, urging enthusiasts to act swiftly to enjoy the item before it sells out, as previous limited-time offerings have tended to do.

Moreover, McDonald’s is expanding its menu options with the introduction of mini hash browns. These new additions will be available either as a single portion of five pieces for £1.49 or in a sharebox containing 15 pieces, priced at £2.99. This follows the fast-food chain’s continual efforts to refresh and diversify its menu items for customer satisfaction.
