Mediaite Launches New YouTube Channels Featuring Major News Personalities

NEW YORK, April 21, 2025 — Mediaite unveiled a new series of personality-led YouTube channels on Monday, aligning with notable figures from major cable news networks to amplify its creator-driven video platform. This initiative aims to connect trusted media voices with digital audiences in a more direct and unfiltered manner.
Journalists Alisyn Camerota and Dave Briggs, both known for their leadership roles in prominent morning shows on CNN and Fox News, will co-host a new video podcast titled “Sanity.” The podcast seeks to address various issues with curiosity and open-mindedness, steering away from typical judgmental media narratives. The show has seen an impressive response, with its subscriber count doubling within just one week of its launch.
Jessica Yellin, a former Chief White House Correspondent for CNN and now a popular social media influencer with over 1.3 million followers, is also joining Mediaite. Through this partnership, she will present her “explainer-first” journalism to a broader audience on YouTube, aided by Mediaite’s promotional and editorial support.
“You don’t have to be a political extremist to see massive success on YouTube,” said Mediaite’s founder, Dan Abrams. He emphasized that Camerota, Briggs, and Yellin are relatable and trustworthy voices, eager to engage with audiences seeking intelligent and often unexpected discussions.
This new initiative mirrors Abrams’s successful blueprint at Law&Crime, which has established itself as a leader in the true crime genre on YouTube, boasting over 7 million subscribers and billions of views. Mediaite aims to replicate that success by expanding its creator-first strategies, focusing on connecting with independent thinkers.
