Mega Millions Jackpot Climbs to $145 Million After No Winners

CLEVELAND — No one claimed the $129 million Mega Millions jackpot during the drawing on Friday night, Feb. 14, 2025, but thousands of other players across Ohio and the country won smaller prizes.
The winning numbers from the drawing were 11, 19, 31, 49, 56, and the Mega Ball was 16, with a Megaplier of 3x. Ohio lottery officials confirmed that while the jackpot went unclaimed, there were numerous winners who matched some of the drawn numbers.
The jackpot has now increased to an estimated $145 million, with a cash option of $66.3 million available. The next drawing is scheduled for 11 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2025, where players will again have a chance to win big.
Lottery officials noted that the odds of winning the Mega Millions jackpot are approximately 1 in 302,575,350. Despite the overwhelming odds, the game remains popular, especially in Ohio, where recent drawings have seen significant winners.
A notable aspect of the Mega Millions lottery is the Megaplier option, which can increase non-jackpot prizes. In this case, the recently drawn 3x Megaplier boosted several winnings substantially.
In addition to the Mega Millions results, the Powerball game has also seen a surge in interest, with Saturday’s jackpot estimated at $172 million and a cash option of $79.4 million. Players are encouraged to participate in both games for a chance at life-changing prizes.
According to the New Jersey Lottery, no tickets were sold that matched all numbers for the previous drawing, which had a jackpot of $110 million. A third-prize ticket amounting to $10,000 was sold in New Jersey, matching four numbers plus the Mega Ball.
Lottery drawings attract millions of players each week across 45 states, Washington, D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The excitement surrounding large jackpots continues to draw entries, even as the odds of winning remain astronomically high.
For those considering their luck, Ohio has recently reported multiple winners in past drawings, fostering a sense of excitement among local players.
