Memorial Day Closures Announced in Cheyenne and Chandler

CHEYENNE, Wyo. — As Memorial Day approaches, several municipal services and offices in Cheyenne will close for the holiday on Monday, May 26, 2025. However, some facilities, including the Cheyenne Aquatic Center and the Cheyenne Ice and Events Center, will remain open.

City officials have shared a list of closures for Memorial Day. Residents are reminded that trash, recycling, and yard waste pickup will be delayed by one day all week, with Friday’s pickups scheduled for Saturday. Residents should have their carts out by 6 AM on collection days.

During the holiday weekend, Riverfront Park attractions and city golf courses will operate as normal. Attractions such as the Looff Carrousel, the Numerica SkyRide, and the Numerica Skate Ribbon will be available for visitors.

In Chandler, Ariz., city officials are also preparing for Memorial Day. They announced that various services will close on the holiday. The Public Information Officer stated that specific details regarding closures in Chandler will be released soon.
