How I Met Your Mother Star Josh Radnor Gets Snowed In On Wedding Day

Actor Josh Radnor, best known for his role on the hit TV show How I Met Your Mother, found himself in an unexpected situation on his wedding day. Radnor and his bride, Doctor Jordana Jacobs, had planned a snowy wedding on January 6th, which happened to be the only date that worked for them before Radnor began rehearsals for his new play.

Little did they know that their wedding day would coincide with a snowstorm that would leave them and their guests stranded at the venue. New York Times journalist Katherine Rosman, who happened to be covering the wedding, got caught in the storm and ended up spending the night in a cabin with some of the bride’s high school friends.

Radnor and Jacobs had met at a psychedelic sound meditation retreat in 2022, where they felt an immediate connection. While Jacobs expressed her feelings right away, it took Radnor a bit longer to reciprocate.

On the day of their wedding, the couple was aware of the snow but didn’t anticipate how heavy it would fall. During the ceremony, the guests were informed that the roads were too dangerous to drive on, and everyone would have to spend the night at the venue. It turned out to be a legendary wedding, with everyone coming together to make the most of the situation.

Radnor jokingly mentioned that he would rebrand January 6th to tell his future children the story of their snowed-in wedding. The couple, described as being in a perpetual ‘college-dorm-go-deep’ mode, made the most of their unexpected situation and enjoyed their special day surrounded by loved ones.
