Florida Weather Forecast Meteorologist Storm Sunshine

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Meteorologist Jenese Harris of News4JAX reported a sunny Monday ahead, with a storm predicted to hit midweek.

Harris outlined the upcoming week during a weather segment on February 16, where she informed viewers about the pleasant start to the week. “We’ll enjoy clear skies and warm temperatures as we begin our Monday, making it a great day to be outdoors,” she said.

However, Harris cautioned that the sunny days will be short-lived. According to her forecast, a system moving into the region will bring increasing chances of rain and storms midweek, particularly on Wednesday. “The change in weather is expected to bring significant rainfall and possibly severe thunderstorm conditions,” she added.

Harris emphasized the need for residents to stay updated on weather alerts as the week progresses. The National Weather Service has advised that the storm could impact travel conditions and outdoor activities.

Jacksonville typically experiences varied weather patterns during this time of year, with fluctuations between warm sunlight and cold fronts. Residents are encouraged to keep an eye on the forecast as preparations may be needed in advance of the approaching system.
