Miami Hurricanes Vs Florida State Football

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — The No. 3 Miami Hurricanes took an impressive 28-3 lead over No. 18 Florida State in a heated ACC rivalry game on Saturday night.

Quarterback Carson Beck led the offense with 237 yards and four touchdown passes, putting the Hurricanes in a commanding position as they moved closer to a 5-0 record for the season.

The game saw a dramatic moment when Florida State running back Ousmane Kromah was tackled out of bounds, crashing into ESPN sideline reporter Holly Rowe and Miami alum Michael Irvin, though they both reported no injuries.

Miami’s defense also shined, limiting Florida State to just 119 yards of total offense through three quarters. Miami had three takeaways, including an interception by Jakobe Thomas.

The Hurricanes scored their first touchdown in the first quarter when Beck connected with CJ Daniels for a touchdown, mocking the Seminoles’ War Chant in celebration.

Florida State managed to score a field goal but struggled to maintain offensive momentum against Miami’s strong defense. Head Coach Mike Norvell expressed frustration with the officiating early in the game.

Miami’s dominance continued in the third quarter, when Beck threw a touchdown to Malachi Toney, pushing the score to 28-3. Toney finished the game with 102 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

In the fourth quarter, Florida State attempted to rally but ultimately fell short, unable to capitalize on several possessions. Miami will likely remain a top contender for the College Football Playoff.

As the final whistle blew, Miami celebrated a decisive victory, securing a firm grasp on their position in the ACC standings.
