Missing Toddler Found Alone in Tulsa, Parents Located

TULSA, Okla. — A two-year-old boy was discovered wandering alone in a Tulsa neighborhood on Tuesday morning, raising concerns among local authorities.
The toddler was found wearing just a diaper in the vicinity of East 71st Street and South Granite Avenue around 11:45 a.m. Tulsa Police Department officials said they had been searching for the child’s parents but had not located them at that time.
After the initial call, officers publicized a request for help from the community. “We’ve been looking for his parents, and have been unsuccessful thus far,” a Tulsa police spokesperson said.
Fortunately, police later confirmed that the boy’s parent had been located, and he was returned home safely. “We are still working on how he ended up in our care,” police stated.
Anyone with information pertaining to the incident or the child’s situation is encouraged to contact the Tulsa Police Department at 918-596-9222.
The investigation continues as authorities seek to clarify the circumstances surrounding the boy’s wandering.
