Motorcyclist Leads High-Speed Police Chase Across Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES, California — A high-speed police chase unfolded across Los Angeles on Monday night after officers attempted to stop a motorcyclist who was driving without a license plate.
The chase began around 10:20 p.m. in West Covina when law enforcement spotted the motorcycle lacking proper identification. The motorcyclist refused to yield, reaching speeds of over 100 mph as they zigzagged through the city on the 10 and 110 Freeways.
As the chase progressed, the motorcyclist traveled through several neighborhoods, including East Los Angeles, Boyle Heights, Hollywood, Westlake, and Echo Park. The suspect was later seen in downtown Los Angeles, where officers occasionally lost sight of them.
At approximately 10:30 p.m., police had not yet detained the motorcyclist, and it was unclear whether they were connected to any additional crimes. The suspect’s name has not been released, and no injuries were reported during the chase.
The California Highway Patrol was also involved in the pursuit, which momentarily saw two people riding the motorcycle. After some time, the motorcyclist changed directions multiple times, continuing to evade officers.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing, and more details will be released as they become available.
