NDA Dominates Bihar Election Results 2024 with 32 Seats, INDIA Bloc Gains in 8 Constituencies
The Bihar Election Results 2024 have been announced with revelations of significant political shifts. As per the latest Election Commission of India trends at 3 p.m., the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) has extended its grip, leading in 32 seats. Within the NDA alliance, the Janata Dal United (JDU) has surged ahead, taking the lead in 14 seats, closely followed by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leading in 12 seats.
The Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) under the leadership of Chirag Paswan is notably making its mark, currently leading in 5 seats. In contrast, the INDIA bloc, dominated by the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and Congress alliance, is gaining ground and leading in 8 constituencies.
The Bihar Election Results also highlight significant victories and leads for various prominent figures. For instance, Chirag Paswan, the leader of LJP(R), commands a significant lead of 90513 votes in Hajipur, showcasing strong support. BJP stalwarts have also secured dominance in key constituencies; Rajiv Pratap Rudy and Giriraj Singh maintain substantial leads in Saran and Begusarai respectively, while Ravi Shankar Prasad secures a formidable lead in Patna Sahib.
Notable figures from the INDIA bloc, like RJD’s Misha Bharti, are also showcasing strong leads in their respective constituencies. The resounding victories and leads during the Bihar Election Results 2024 are indicative of the changing political landscape in the state.
The Bihar Election Results bring to light the contrast between past electoral outcomes. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the NDA clinched a resounding victory, securing 39 out of 40 seats in the state. On the other hand, the 2014 elections portrayed a different narrative, with the BJP emerging as the dominant force and securing 23 seats, unallied with JDU.
