Netflix’s ‘Missing You’ Climbs Charts with Gripping Mystery
Netflix‘s latest mystery thriller, *Missing You*, has surged to the number two spot on the streaming platform’s most-watched charts since its January 1 debut. The five-part limited series, based on Harlan Coben‘s 2014 novel of the same name, has captivated audiences with its intricate plot and emotional depth.
The story follows Detective Kat Donovan (Rosalind Eleazar) as she investigates the mysterious reappearance of her ex-fiancĂ©, Josh (Ashley Walters), on a dating app 11 years after he vanished. Kat’s personal quest for answers intertwines with her professional investigation into a series of disappearances, including that of a man named Rishi Migari (Rudi Dharmalingam) and a woman named Dana Fells (Lisa Faulkner).
As Kat delves deeper, she uncovers shocking truths about her father’s murder, which was previously pinned on career criminal Monte Leburne (Marc Warren). Monte, now terminally ill, confesses to Kat that he was paid to take the fall for the crime. This revelation sets off a chain of events that exposes a web of corruption, betrayal, and long-buried secrets.
