Netmarble Unveils Trailer for Solo Leveling: KARMA at G-STAR 2025
Busan, South Korea — During the G-STAR 2025 event, Netmarble released a trailer and opening movie for their new game, Solo Leveling: KARMA. This action RPG, which will be available for Android, iOS, and PC, is based on the popular webtoon series created by Chugong.
The opening animation was produced by A-1 Pictures, known for their work on the Solo Leveling anime series. Fans are excited, as the new game promises an original storyline exploring the Dimensional Gap, a backdrop to a 27-year-long war among Monarchs.
The trailer features protagonist Sung Jinwoo, who narrates his struggles, saying, “I’ve lost too many people in this war. To bring back the people I lost, I turned back time to start the war again.” This marks the first time players will experience this untold tale.
In Solo Leveling: KARMA, players will utilize a variety of weapons to combat numerous enemies. The gameplay draws inspiration from genre classics, featuring isometric perspective gameplay akin to roguelike titles.
The opening sequence showcases character design changes, depicting Jinwoo in a more fragile and child-like manner before transitioning into a powerful warrior. Shadow soldiers accompany him into battle against formidable foes like Goto Ryuji, the Guild Master of the Draw Sword Guild.
Solo Leveling: KARMA is set for release in 2026. Meanwhile, another title from the Solo Leveling universe, Solo Leveling: ARISE OVERDRIVE, is scheduled to launch on PC and Xbox on November 17, 2025. Pre-orders for the Deluxe Edition are also available, offering fans early access and exclusive content.
As the anticipation builds, fans can currently stream the first two seasons of the Solo Leveling anime on Crunchyroll, diving deeper into Jinwoo’s evolution as a powerful necromancer.
