New Characters and Stages Announced for MARVEL Tōkon Beta

LOS ANGELES, CA — MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls, a new team-based fighting game, will host its latest Closed Beta from December 5 to December 7, 2025. Co-developed by PlayStation Studios, Arc System Works, and Marvel Games, the game features characters from the Marvel Universe battling it out in unique arenas.

Game developers revealed on November 11 that Spider-Man and Ghost Rider are set to join the character roster, bringing the total to eight fighters. Players can mix and match these heroes and villains to create teams of four. Two new stages, Savage Land and the X-Mansion, will also be introduced during this beta, each featuring distinct interactive elements.

The Closed Beta will start at midnight Pacific Time on December 5 and run until 11:59 PM Pacific Time on December 7, lasting a total of 72 hours. During the first two days, players can participate in both CPU-controlled battles and online matches. The final day will focus solely on online play.

Previous participants of the first beta will be automatically registered for this upcoming test. They will receive reminder emails from PlayStation in the next few weeks. New players interested in joining must sign up to receive an invitation. Additional details will be provided as the beta approaches, and players are encouraged to share their feedback and impressions using the hashtag #MarvelTokon.

The development team aims to enhance user experience based on feedback received from the earlier beta, including balance adjustments and visual improvements. They invite players to engage on social media and join the official Discord community for support and tips as the beta draws near.
